How does the financial planner work?
Run "what-if" scenarios and see how financial decisions affect your future.
The financial planner has two parts: a monthly cash flow summary showing where your money went, and an AI scenario simulator for answering "what if" questions.
Monthly cash flow summary
- Income vs. the previous month
- Total spending vs. the previous month
- Savings amount and savings rate
- Spending breakdown by category with bar charts
- AI commentary on notable spending patterns
AI scenario simulator
Type any financial question to simulate the outcome. The planner uses your real income, expenses, and net worth as the baseline.
Example scenarios you can run
- "Can I afford a $1.5M house?"
- "What happens if I retire at 55?"
- "What if I save $2,000 more per month?"
- "How long until I pay off my student loans?"
- "What if I take a $20,000 pay cut to change careers?"
Reading the results
Each scenario shows a feasibility badge (Feasible, Challenging, or Unlikely), key financial metrics, estimated impact on your net worth, and a plain-language assessment from the AI.
